One last push…And I’m done with this semester!!!! WOOHOOOOO! Happy days are here again! Trust me, how I’m feeling right now isn’t even half of how the previous statement sounded like. It’s a feeling so indescribable I can’t put myself together to possibly expressing it into words. That’s because no word ever written or even thought about can even describe this feeling. WAAAAAH! asdfghjkl… Anyway, the photos below were taken a week ago by my good friend and my new protegee, Jenni Ginete HIHI! She deserves something cute for all the hard work she puts into taking my photos despite being all stressed out from school. Soon, Jenni, soon! Any way I was talking about mixing and changing up my style a bit and here’s my second attempt. It’s a working progress and it isn’t much to be proud of…YET. I am so stoked to shop for a new wardrobe. Have you guys been to Stradivarius and Bershka at Glorietta 2? They’ve got a lot of rad pieces and I’ve got my eyes on a few already. I can’t wait! (Forgive me for another terribly short post. Everything seems so rushed lately, like everything around me just keeps on moving very fast and I have to keep up and move just as fast. I promise to post a lenghty post very soon)
These round sunnies from Lui have become an essential for my everyday look. I don’t know I just get so lazy to look for other sunnies in my stash that’d look good with a particular outfit. These just go along with anything.
My sick top is from Seventh Street My gold chains are from Forever 21 Watch is from Aldo Rings are from Freeway and my friend, Tricia
Okay, I’m off to finish some stuff for school now… LAST PUSH, BABY! Au Revoir and Happy Summer Vacation!!!
This was from last Saturday as my friends and I ended another stressful week of deadlines, job interviews, and what not. First of all, I am terribly sorry for having nothing but stress and work to mention in my posts. Apparently, that’s how life is for me right now. I do hope to start posting more about fun, exciting things. But for the mean time, bear with me as I have nothing but stress, stress, and more stress written all over my agenda.
Nicole, Jenni, Tal, and I had a nice little tea party (if you’d call it that) at Café Mary Grace last Saturday. It was pretty surprising of my friends to be splurging on our “tambayan” since we usually just stick to Big Chill ’cause it’s well…cheap, to be blunt. But don’t get me wrong, even if it costs us less to hang out at Big Chill, we still end up paying for more since we buy more because the food and the drinks are cheaper than any other place in Greenbelt (Well except for A-Gantea. But we stopped hanging out there ’cause we’re just all so sick of milk tea already and Aey’s on friggin’ diet). So anyway, Mary Grace it was and we loved how cozy the ambience was. We hung out at Mary Grace the day before also, right after our Job fair. Nicole, Tal, and I tried their Mexicana Tsokolate which is hot chocolate infused with cinnamon and chili. Yes. Chili. It was actually pretty good for me but I don’t reckon it is for all taste buds since it gives off a weird after taste which reminds me of Mediterranean food. It’s a must try for every adventure-seeking tongue. Anyway, the only reason I wanted to hang out at Mary Grace was because of their lemon squares. I could eat them all day, everyday, I swear. I got my boyfriend’s mother a box for her birthday and I kinda felt bad that I didn’t get myself a box as well… LOL So, yeah… We spent a lazy Saturday afternoon at Mary Grace sipping on raspberry iced tea and munching on sweets. It’s moments like these that make life seem so much brighter despite all the stress that comes along.
- I wore a simple casual peplum top with skinny jeans since I had a date with Chavs after my rendezvous with friends. I make it a point to be as simple as I can be whenever I am going to see him since he makes such a fuss over my clothing 😐
Nevertheless I think my outfit was quite fitting for “high tea”

This is what great afternoons are made of. Looking forward to more afternoons with the girls (Aey and Mina included naman lol)

I got the title from the series we’re currently tackling on at Victory, Fort. For those of you who don’t know, well, Victory is a Christian fellowship, not only here in Manila, but outside of the Philippines as well :D. Anyway, I loved the topic yesterday and for those of you who are interested, you can listen to the podcast here.
So anyway, this was what I wore to church yesterday….
Chambray Denim Button-Up top – Pink Manila
White Tank Top – Bayo
Black Bondage Skirt – Landmark (lol another bargain)
It was really hot before we left for the Fort so I chose to wear this. Unfortunately, when we arrived, it started pouring and the wind was so strong. It was a disaster. I was freezing cold and I couldn’t take pictures after the service because of the bad weather condition. So, it’s a good thing I was able to take these before leaving :). (cropped my face out ’cause I think it looked weird HAHA)
Neon Orange and Gold studded necklace from my BFF, Lui
Neon Yellow and Gold dangling spikes necklace from Greenhills
arm party from Lui and from Greenhills
Platforms from Primadonna
Although it rained really hard, it was still another wonderful Sunday with my parents. I hope you enjoyed your Sundays as well! 🙂
Bet you were all expecting the excessively worn statement tee with the famous S branded right on the middle, weren’t you? Unfortunately I had another Superman rendition in mind. Everyone’s enamored by the handsome, villain-bashing hunk that is Superman but I think his civilian secret identity is missing out on all the love. I think Clark Kent is undeniably the perfect example to the popular phrase, “Don’t judge a book by its cover”. Plus I think his whole introverted and mild-mannered personality makes him all the more interesting. Oh and I totally dig his geek chic look, don’t you? Thus the outfit I wore to a little reunion with our friend, Tricia.
Tricia and her guy…hihi
We had a VERY late lunch at Burger Bar in Greenbelt
My Clark Kent-inspired outfit LOL Plus it was kind of humid that day (Very typical Manila weather) so I thought a crisp White shirt would be comfortable
Wore my “hairy” charmed loafers from So Fab. Very versatile. In fact, it’s so versatile I wear them with my school uniform. Daily.
White button-up from Kamiseta
High-waisted shorts from Freeway
Bag from Topshop
Happy Weekend to all of you! 😀

We all meet friends here and there as we slowly tread the road we call life. Some meet a lot and some meet a few. Some friends are new, some friends are old. Some friends we see everyday, and some we barely see. Some friends walk out of our life and some we keep for life. Nonetheless, they’re all friends. Friends who have made, who are making, and who will continue to make a huge impact in our lives. Friends who have somehow made us into who we are now. A certain Saturday made me thankful of the friendships I’ve made in my short 19 years of existence. Some turned their backs on me, some changed me, some accepted me and some loved me. Nevertheless all of them I consider friends because each of them contributed to the chapters that make up my life.
I’m glad to have found these friends of mine
We had a mini reunion at RedBox, Greenbelt. We had unending laughs and conversations. It was not like we haven’t seen each other in such a long time. But we have not seen each other for long. And that’s the beauty of this kind of bond. It’s the kind of bond that strengthens even as time passes by. I hope we get to do this again 🙂
A quintessential outfit post but of course…
lace top from Forever 21, jeans from Paige
statement necklace from Forever 21… Never regretted buying this necklace as it instantly glamorizes any simple outfit.
Wedges from So Fab
watch from Aldo. This is by far my favorite timepiece as it has changeable straps…
A close-up at the details of my lace top
Hope you all enjoyed your weekends! Until next time!
It’s a tradition in every Filipino home to celebrate Noche Buena which is Spanish referring to the night before Christmas. Traditionally Filipinos gather with their loved ones to have dinner, some go to mass, and some hold Christmas parties. Noche Buena, based on my experiences, is even more festive than Christmas day. I don’t know why that is so but I guess Filipino families prefer a much quieter Christmas day. Growing up, I’d always be excited for the 24th of December. We’d usually go to my aunt’s house (which is a few houses away from ours LOL) and have a family dinner. There would be endless conversations (I come from a family of social butterflies 😐 My father, especially. I never seemed to inherit that gene) and laughter all throughout the night. As for the kids, well, we would all patiently wait for 12 midnight. That would be when our parents would let us open our gifts. We’d stay up that late even if our eyes forced themselves shut. I always loved Christmas eve as a child and I look forward to it every year.
This year is a bit different though. I’d be spending Christmas eve at home with my parents and our baby, Salt. My cousin, Sam is away in Cebu with her parents and it’s so sad to think that this would be my first Christmas eve without her (I think…). I’ll see you on New Year’s Eve though, Ate Sam! Nevertheless, the true meaning of Christmas still remains relevant no matter where, how or with whom you spend it with. It’ll always be about coming together to receive God’s most special gift to mankind.
Anyway, though we’re only spending Christmas Eve at home, dressing up would never hurt anyone right?
inner top is from Forever 21, Lace outer top is from this new store my friends and I discovered at the newly re-opened Glorietta 2. The place is called Classified and they sell great clothes at great prices. I’m being very sincere, trust me. Go check their store out. Red peplum skirt from Apartment 8
These awesome spiked Mary Jane’s are from Tonic
They’re SEMI heel less LOL okay I made that term up but they don’t pass as heel less pumps shoes to me… Nevertheless they’re pretty and very easy to walk in
Watch from Guess and bracelets from my most recent shopping venture at the World Trade Center
This is my most favorite necklace out of all my necklaces… I got this from a store at the Supersale Bazaar at The Grove a few years back… I can’t remember which store though but I think this piece is very unique. And it reminded me of sunken treasure and…mermaids…I love mermaids…
Salt seems to be excited for Christmas too!
Isn’t he a cutie?
A Merry Christmas to all of you!
I’m not necessarily a first-time blogger. I’ve owned a blog since I was in high school. It is, however, my first-time as a “fashion blogger” (cringe). Don’t get me wrong I love fashion, especially the shopping part. I can certainly relate to Rebecca Bloomwood from Confessions of a Shopaholic. “You know that thing when you see someone cute and he smiles and your heart kind of goes like warm butter sliding down hot toast? Well that’s what it’s like when I see a store. Only it’s better.” (Yes, I agree) I’m an impulsive buyer and whenever I see something I like and I have the money to buy it, I will buy it. That’s why a lot of my friends have been bugging me to make a blog about my clothes. So, here it is (LOL).
This is what I wore to school on the second Saturday of December (We are required to wear a uniform in school except on Wednesdays and Saturdays so don’t expect me to post outfits everyday lol)
I went with a simple polished look for school. I didn’t want to get overly dolled up since the weather was pretty humid. At the same time, I didn’t want to look too casual.
I got the top from Landmark for 250 bucks (Total steal…I love shopping at Landmark hihi). The necklace is from Seventh Street (If I’m not mistaken…)
My white jeans are from Mudd, bag – Longchamp, and my shoes – Syrup LA
A closer look at my shoes… Killer…Literally. T’was so hard to walk in them… Nevertheless, I love them
Lovely watch from Bench
After we were dismissed from our last class, it was time for us to head to the mall to pass the time until we all decide to go home eventually. I dread this moment every time I come to school in heels. I hate walking from AC all the way to Greenbelt or Glorietta. And much to my demise, the streets are not even stiletto-friendly. I braved the distance and the heat, anyway. Luckily I thought of bringing flip flops so I can change.
Very Berry Hibiscus to cool us down after the long walk under the scorching heat.
Our favorite past time: Pusoy Dos
After a few rounds, I left for MOA (Mall of Asia) to meet up with my boyfriend and his mother. Too bad I don’t have pictures, though. So that was how my Saturday went. I hope you enjoyed reading my first post as a newbie “fashion blogger”. Until next time!
