One last push…And I’m done with this semester!!!! WOOHOOOOO! Happy days are here again! Trust me, how I’m feeling right now isn’t even half of how the previous statement sounded like. It’s a feeling so indescribable I can’t put myself together to possibly expressing it into words. That’s because no word ever written or even thought about can even describe this feeling. WAAAAAH! asdfghjkl… Anyway, the photos below were taken a week ago by my good friend and my new protegee, Jenni Ginete HIHI! She deserves something cute for all the hard work she puts into taking my photos despite being all stressed out from school. Soon, Jenni, soon! Any way I was talking about mixing and changing up my style a bit and here’s my second attempt. It’s a working progress and it isn’t much to be proud of…YET. I am so stoked to shop for a new wardrobe. Have you guys been to Stradivarius and Bershka at Glorietta 2? They’ve got a lot of rad pieces and I’ve got my eyes on a few already. I can’t wait! (Forgive me for another terribly short post. Everything seems so rushed lately, like everything around me just keeps on moving very fast and I have to keep up and move just as fast. I promise to post a lenghty post very soon)
These round sunnies from Lui have become an essential for my everyday look. I don’t know I just get so lazy to look for other sunnies in my stash that’d look good with a particular outfit. These just go along with anything.
My sick top is from Seventh Street My gold chains are from Forever 21 Watch is from Aldo Rings are from Freeway and my friend, Tricia
Okay, I’m off to finish some stuff for school now… LAST PUSH, BABY! Au Revoir and Happy Summer Vacation!!!
In the height of all the preparations the being done for the Lunar New Year, my fellow communications students and I went on an educational trip to Binondo, Manila (China Town), to soak in the rich Chinese culture right in the heart of Manila. Binondo was established by the Spaniards as the confinement of the Chinese immigrants in Manila during the Spanish rule in the Philippines. But it is said that the Chinese were already living in Binondo before the Spaniards came. Binondo is apparently the oldest China Town in the world and it is home to authentic Chinese culture. It was once the business and financial district of Manila up until World War 2. After the war, most establishments relocated to Makati City. The street is the center of Binondo life as this is where people sold their products, this is where they socialized, and etc. And the streets of Binondo were festive just in time for the new year. We could have never chosen a better time to visit Binondo than right before the Lunar New Year.

gingers tied with red ribbons…I’m not entirely sure why they do this but it made everything seem more festive… The streets were filled with these.

Bet you were all expecting the excessively worn statement tee with the famous S branded right on the middle, weren’t you? Unfortunately I had another Superman rendition in mind. Everyone’s enamored by the handsome, villain-bashing hunk that is Superman but I think his civilian secret identity is missing out on all the love. I think Clark Kent is undeniably the perfect example to the popular phrase, “Don’t judge a book by its cover”. Plus I think his whole introverted and mild-mannered personality makes him all the more interesting. Oh and I totally dig his geek chic look, don’t you? Thus the outfit I wore to a little reunion with our friend, Tricia.
Tricia and her guy…hihi
We had a VERY late lunch at Burger Bar in Greenbelt
My Clark Kent-inspired outfit LOL Plus it was kind of humid that day (Very typical Manila weather) so I thought a crisp White shirt would be comfortable
Wore my “hairy” charmed loafers from So Fab. Very versatile. In fact, it’s so versatile I wear them with my school uniform. Daily.
White button-up from Kamiseta
High-waisted shorts from Freeway
Bag from Topshop
Happy Weekend to all of you! 😀
