One last push…And I’m done with this semester!!!! WOOHOOOOO! Happy days are here again! Trust me, how I’m feeling right now isn’t even half of how the previous statement sounded like. It’s a feeling so indescribable I can’t put myself together to possibly expressing it into words. That’s because no word ever written or even thought about can even describe this feeling. WAAAAAH! asdfghjkl… Anyway, the photos below were taken a week ago by my good friend and my new protegee, Jenni Ginete HIHI! She deserves something cute for all the hard work she puts into taking my photos despite being all stressed out from school. Soon, Jenni, soon! Any way I was talking about mixing and changing up my style a bit and here’s my second attempt. It’s a working progress and it isn’t much to be proud of…YET. I am so stoked to shop for a new wardrobe. Have you guys been to Stradivarius and Bershka at Glorietta 2? They’ve got a lot of rad pieces and I’ve got my eyes on a few already. I can’t wait! (Forgive me for another terribly short post. Everything seems so rushed lately, like everything around me just keeps on moving very fast and I have to keep up and move just as fast. I promise to post a lenghty post very soon)
These round sunnies from Lui have become an essential for my everyday look. I don’t know I just get so lazy to look for other sunnies in my stash that’d look good with a particular outfit. These just go along with anything.
My sick top is from Seventh Street My gold chains are from Forever 21 Watch is from Aldo Rings are from Freeway and my friend, Tricia
Okay, I’m off to finish some stuff for school now… LAST PUSH, BABY! Au Revoir and Happy Summer Vacation!!!
This was from last Saturday as my friends and I ended another stressful week of deadlines, job interviews, and what not. First of all, I am terribly sorry for having nothing but stress and work to mention in my posts. Apparently, that’s how life is for me right now. I do hope to start posting more about fun, exciting things. But for the mean time, bear with me as I have nothing but stress, stress, and more stress written all over my agenda.
Nicole, Jenni, Tal, and I had a nice little tea party (if you’d call it that) at Café Mary Grace last Saturday. It was pretty surprising of my friends to be splurging on our “tambayan” since we usually just stick to Big Chill ’cause it’s well…cheap, to be blunt. But don’t get me wrong, even if it costs us less to hang out at Big Chill, we still end up paying for more since we buy more because the food and the drinks are cheaper than any other place in Greenbelt (Well except for A-Gantea. But we stopped hanging out there ’cause we’re just all so sick of milk tea already and Aey’s on friggin’ diet). So anyway, Mary Grace it was and we loved how cozy the ambience was. We hung out at Mary Grace the day before also, right after our Job fair. Nicole, Tal, and I tried their Mexicana Tsokolate which is hot chocolate infused with cinnamon and chili. Yes. Chili. It was actually pretty good for me but I don’t reckon it is for all taste buds since it gives off a weird after taste which reminds me of Mediterranean food. It’s a must try for every adventure-seeking tongue. Anyway, the only reason I wanted to hang out at Mary Grace was because of their lemon squares. I could eat them all day, everyday, I swear. I got my boyfriend’s mother a box for her birthday and I kinda felt bad that I didn’t get myself a box as well… LOL So, yeah… We spent a lazy Saturday afternoon at Mary Grace sipping on raspberry iced tea and munching on sweets. It’s moments like these that make life seem so much brighter despite all the stress that comes along.
- I wore a simple casual peplum top with skinny jeans since I had a date with Chavs after my rendezvous with friends. I make it a point to be as simple as I can be whenever I am going to see him since he makes such a fuss over my clothing 😐
Nevertheless I think my outfit was quite fitting for “high tea”

You know that feeling when you think you’ve accomplished something really big but it was just a dream? Or when you get through this very difficult level in a video game and the power suddenly goes out and you did not save the game? Sucks huh? Well, that’s exactly what happened to us. We all got major stressed out because everyone thought theses were supposed to be submitted by Wednesday. My partner and I pulled off an all-nighter finishing our thesis without recommended revisions from our professor since she wasn’t even replying to our email. So, we ended up just working things out, finishing the papers and printing them out just in time for submission. And we were so happy once the department stamped on our thesis to verify them receiving it on that day. It was like this huge burden got lifted up from our backs by some helpful giant or something. That was why we spent the rest of the afternoon doing absolutely nothing. But came Thursday and we found out that our professor sent us revisions at about 3 AM and boy, did we have much to revise. Also, theses were due by Friday NOT Wednesday. It was back to work for us trying to beat the deadline yet again (not to mention we wasted so much ink and so many papers for our first submission). Don’t you just hate it when that happens?? UGH! Anyway, we got through that hell of a week and another hell of a week shall start again. It’s a good thing we had this long weekend to unwind and just not worry about deadlines. Ah, the life of a college junior! I’m so excited to get everything done already!
What I wore on that very disappointing day:

So, how are you guys handling the pre-summer vacation stress?
First of all, I beg you for the delay. We’ve been so busy with thesis and other sh*t lately we don’t even have the time to breathe anymore. But it’s stress like this that builds up good character, I reckon. But I won’t deny the fact that I am getting tired and all I want now is a tall glass of Gimlet and 12 hours of sleep. No worries though because summer’s just around the corner. For the mean time feast your eyes on my colorfully girly (bleh) outfit a couple of weeks back:
told you my outfit’s so gay… Dunno what came to me that day… Anyway, it’s a good color combo and I really wanted to wear my pink pointed toe heels
Don’t you just immediately remember robort unicorn attack because of my top? Hihi or Nyan cat! Lol
DIMSUM! My forever photographer Tal and I had Chinese for lunch since it was the eve of the Lunar New Year. We thought it to be fitting. And because we were the only ones who went to school since our friends all cut class :)) I love my one on one dates with Tal :)) We always end up splurging on good food
Tested out Macky’s prime lens at Garage 14 after my dimsum date with Tal

So, this is where it all starts; all the long nights, the restlessness, and not to mention, the stress: Thesis. Our topic about social media and political marketing just got approved last week and we maximized our time left by procrastinating and just being our usual easy-go-lucky selves. Today is the day we start cracking. My partner, Aey, and I have already done a few parts for chapter one and we’re positive we’re going to finish this chapter by Saturday. And then it’s off to start with chapter two. I’ve never felt so pressured in my entire life. No kidding.
We spent most of the day at Big Chill in Greenbelt 3, supposedly getting work done but unfortunately, katamaran pops up its ugly head, as usual, and we ended up chilling at big chill. Well sort of. We did start working, we just didn’t finish lol. So, anyway, I hope all works out well in the end. Wish us luck and pray for us pretty please? Huhu
What I wore to our “thesis “sesh:
I wore a simple yet elegant and, not to mention, breezy sheer top and a bandage skirt. The oversized black bag also looked quite well with the overall look. Remember what Tyra Banks always said in the Tyra show, “If you want to look expensive, wear Black.” and I agree. Would you believe me if I told you the bag’s from Landmark and it costs less than a thousand?
sheer top from some store at the Rockwell Bazaar, bandage skirt from The Landmark
Rings from some bazaar a long time ago… I’m terribly sorry for I cannot remember
Satin ballet flats from Ichigo
My forever sunnies from where else? Forever 21 duh!
I love my photographer. She makes me look so good in photos. Minus all the awkwardness and weirdness LOL
Jenni being so industrious… Doing her part for their thesis AKA facebook-ing LOL
My very masipag and not to mention always on time (sarcasm lol) thesis partner, Aey! We’re actually aiming for thesis of the year, FYI. CHOS! Lol. Ambisyosa kami bakit?
I cannot wait for all this to end. Wish us luck!

More kaartehan outside AC…While waiting for the shuttle to the mall

…And Macky! You guys saved my Saturday huhu :’)
more kaartehan lol. At Fort Strip this time…
Oh, and I saw this huge wrestler guy and asked for a picture together! LOL. JK. That’s Tito Euge
My Saturday went great. Unfortunately, though, for a lot of the people living not so far away from us, Saturday wasn’t a very good day. This huge fire destroyed houses and lives in Kalayaan, Pasay. Your prayers for these people are deeply appreciated.

Wednesday was such an eye-opener to me. I usually don’t pay much attention to my NSTP class. I’d usually just wait ever so patiently (And difficult, it is) for the three hours to go by so I can finally get on with life. But this particular session touched my heart. Our topic in class was “social responsibility” and so we watched a few videos showing different contemporary heroes taking risks and devoting their hearts for the betterment of their fellow men. I was especially touched by CNN hero, Narayanan Krishnan’s story. Imagine a guy, a well-renowned chef at a five star hotel, living the life, but suddenly gives up his job and dedicates his skill and his heart to feeding the poor. “I saw a very old man eating his own human waste for food. It really hurt me so much. I was literally shocked for a second. After that, I started feeding that man and decided this is what I should do for the rest of my life”. I think that statement says it all. It’s really heart-crushing to see people on the streets, with nowhere to go, no food to relieve their hunger and not even a single person who cares for them. We stop for a second and are crushed by the sight, but after that, we move on with life as if we didn’t see anything. I’m actually guilty of this. I can’t even bear to look at these people. Maybe because a part of me wants to do something yet another part’s asking how. Yet people like Narayanan Krishnan braved all the uncertainty and did what was right. I was greatly inspired after our class. And to top it off, we watched the very much talked about film adaptation of Victor Hugo’s masterpiece, Les Miserables, later in the evening. I’ve never appreciated a musical as much as I loved this movie. I’m deeply grateful to our school for sponsoring and having us all watch it.
So, this was what I wore that day…
My new closet staple. I love how this skirt is body-hugging and how it falls just above the knee. Not too short nor too long.
printed tank – Artwork
bondage skirt – Forever 21
bag – Topshop
My tribal necklace is from Yhansy
Les Miserables is a must watch! I am not exaggerating at all. If you haven’t seen it yet, go. Now
We waited six hours after our class to watch the movie. It was worth all the pains of waiting, though.
